About Valley Hospital in Spokane Valley, Washington
Valley Hospital is a 123-bed, acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital is the only full-service, tertiary care facility in the eastern half of Spokane County and offers the area’s only Joint Commission-certified knee and hip replacement program. In 2010, Valley Hospital was one of only 405 hospitals to earn the distinction of top performer on key quality measures for attaining and sustaining excellence, and of just five in the state of Washington.
Valley Hospital is a Level-III Trauma Center and has an accredited cancer institution. With 530 practicing medical and allied health professionals, advanced medical technology and modern facilities, Valley provides a range of services to meet the community’s healthcare needs.
Valley Hospital along with Deaconess Hospital and Rockwood Clinic are all part of Rockwood Health System, an integrated healthcare delivery system that works to increase access to health services, improve coordination of patient care among providers, and focus on quality and customer relationships.
