Valley Hospital’s Laboratory and Pathology Department performs and coordinates all testing of blood, body fluid and tissue pathology specimens. In conjunction with the Inland Northwest Blood Center, the laboratory provides life-saving blood products for all emergencies.
Valley Hospital provides clinical laboratory services 24/7 to patients of all ages who require laboratory procedures as ordered by their physician.
All outpatients visiting during week day hours are requested to report to the Outpatient Admitting Area. After 5 p.m. and on weekends, patients are asked to report to the Emergency Room which serves as the Laboratory's after hours admitting area.
During your hospital visit, your physician may perform a procedure to remove a sample of your tissue or blood. A pathologist, a physician that examines tissue specimens, analyzes these samples. The pathologists at Valley Hospital have been at the forefront in the diagnosis and analysis of developmental abnormalities.
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Enter through the Emergency Room after 5 p.m. and on weekends.
